Founded in 1904 by Emperor Gojong as his personal library within Deoksugung Palace, the Seoul Club is the first and oldest private social club in Korea. With over a century of history, it has evolved into a truly international members-only club, representing members of more than 100 nationalities worldwide.
-A Space Where Tradition Meets Modernity
Relocated to its current site in 1984, the Seoul Club was designed by renowned architect Kim Swoo-geun, a master of Korean modern architecture. The facility offers a premium social environment, featuring fine dining restaurants, state-of-the-art sports amenities, and multi-purpose halls, all harmoniously blending classical elegance with modern design.
-A Successful Renovation with BAUM CM
Completed in October 2020, the Seoul Club Renovation Project focused on preserving the club’s historical identity while introducing modern aesthetics and functionality. BAUM CM served as the project’s Construction Management (CM) firm, providing systematic schedule control and quality assurance throughout the process. The newly revitalized Seoul Club now delivers a more refined and convenient member experience, reaffirming its position as Korea’s leading private social club.
